With more than 17 years of experience operating, maintaining, and commissioning Jenbacher Gas Engines, Alvaro brings valuable experience to our organization.

Alvaro started out as a plant operator, operating 2, 616 Jenbacher units. As a field service technician, Alvaro excelled and quickly became a lead technician and a mentor to the younger technicians.

Pulling from his field experience, Alvaro’s progression led him to commissioning where he has commissioned Jenbacher plants throughout North America and abroad.

In 2019, Alvaro earned an Associate degree in Electric Power Technology from North Dakota Bismarck State College, adding to his already impressive resume. Pulling from his years of experience in the field, Alvaro is a natural trainer and mentor.

Alvaro’s technical background, professionalism, and practical approach to problem solving has proven to be a valuable combination for the NES-WES Training department.

Joel brings over 20 years of experience and was one of the first Jenbacher technicians in the United States. Originally hired by Jenbacher to operate 3, 616 engines in Southern California. Joel gained significant experience on Jenbacher engines, controls, and balance of plant systems.

In 2006, Joel, along with Alvaro Garcia were part of the original team at Western Energy Systems. Since 2006 Joel has progressed as a Field Technician, Service Manager, Project Manager, Technical Services Manager, Training Manager, and now as the Director of Certified Training Services.

Joel’s years of experience with Jenbacher Gas Engines and power plants allows for a complete training experience. As a Jenbacher Certified trainer, Joel delivers professional, practical, and valuable training for our technicians and our customers.
